Antwonette K. Shade is the founder and President of The Union of Black America, an organization dedicated to empowering the Black community.

Antwonette is a community activist, entrepreneur, and spoken word artist with a gift for transforming common language into powerful messages.

She appeared in the documentary “Just Us” and
has been profiled by news and media outlets for establishing voting rights initiatives and her activism around advocating for wrongly incarcerated and overly sentenced individuals.
