Dr Movita Johnson-Harrell comes from five generations of poverty and addictions. After losing five family members to homicide she founded The CHARLES Foundation. March of 2019 Movita made history as the first Muslim woman ever elected to the Pennsylvania legislature. In 2020 she released her memoir, “Phoenix Ascending: My Rise From The Ashes”. She was recently appointed as a United Nations Ambassador to Geneva Switzerland. Movita is an international motivational speaker.
