Khalid currently serves as a professor at Long Island University where he has taught several courses on evaluating talent in the NBA as well as philosophies of coaching. He is also the community basketball director for New Heights Youth Inc., where he oversees the development of their community basketball initiatives and partnerships. He is currently finishing a book dedicated to black/brown youth and parents in sports. He is the co-founder of the Upnext Podcast.
