I faced a life-altering accident as a baby which left me paralyzed. Despite societal challenges, I emerged as a Disability Justice Activist, Independent Film Producer, and renowned Speaker. I have moderated discussions for ACLU of Michigan, Dana and Christopher Reeves Foundation, and Justice for Every Black Girl. My advocacy began as Ms. Wheelchair MI 2006. With a Journalism degree, I create authentic media representation, facilitate courageous conversation on the impacts of race, gender and disability.
