Akil Parker is an HBCU-trained mathematics professor that teaches at an HBCU (Cheyney University). He also is the founder of All This Math, LLC, an educational services company with a goal of rebranding mathematics as a viable tool in the African-American community through math tutoring, educational consulting and positive media. He also has developed a teaching framework called Histematics where he organically combines History and Mathematics for the benefit of students and parents.
