Elita (they) is a Black, queer, and trans scholar-activist with a background in counseling, education, and leadership. As Principal Consultant for The Center for Critical Mentoring and Youth Work, they support institutions, organizations, professionals, and practitioners harness collective power to co-create social change.

Elita offers poetry readings, course visits, workshops, and ready-to-go presentations on: their lived experiences, student activism, youth leadership, critical mentoring, JEDI 101, anti-oppressive counseling, LGBTQ+ inclusion, wellness, education trauma, and liberatory language.
